From reader to client — the next step after the ebook

You just finished the ebook. You know what to look for on a lot, and you have the language to ask the right questions. But reading a guide and committing to a property are different things — and that's where I come in.

Three ways to put an architect's eyes on your project: a live call, a written review, or a deep engagement. Pick the level of review that matches where you are.

Three Ways to Work Together

Pick the level of review that matches your project

Two of these tiers are placeholder names — the owner will finalize naming and pricing once the consultation calendar is set. Names below are illustrative so you can see how the surface lays out.

Tier 1 — Placeholder Name

Quick Consult

A live conversation when you need an architect's judgment in real time — not a report to read later.

  • 30-minute live video call (or phone)
  • Pre-call questionnaire so we hit the ground running
  • Written follow-up summary within 48 hours
  • Best when you have questions, not plans

Tier 3 — Placeholder Name

Full Engagement

A deep written review of architectural plans, site survey, code compliance, and constructability — before you build.

  • Full review of architectural plans & site survey
  • Code compliance & jurisdictional check
  • Constructability red flags before you sign
  • Annotated PDFs + prioritized issue list

Is This For You?

Just finished the ebook

You have the framework. Now you need an architect's eyes on a specific lot, plan, or decision — pick the tier that matches the depth of review you need.

Have a specific property in mind

You're under contract, considering an offer, or eyeing a lot on the market. A Property Review catches the issues before they become your problem.

Already mid-project with red flags

Plans drawn, contractor hired, permits pulled — but you're seeing things in the drawings the contractor isn't explaining. A Site Analysis Review gives you an independent read.

How It Works

From pick to delivered review

Step 1

Pick your tier

Browse the three tiers below. Each one is a different level of review — live call, written report, or full engagement.

Step 2

Send your materials

Address, listing, plans, or questionnaire depending on tier. The more complete the picture, the sharper the review.

Step 3

Get your review

Written summary, annotated PDF, or live call — delivered on the timeline your tier promises. Real answers, not sales pressure.

“I had a commercial lease under consideration and asked LauraLee to look at the space. She flagged that the occupancy load would require three restrooms — the unit only had one. That review saved me from signing a lease I couldn't legally use.”

Before You Book

Common Questions

Which tier is right for me?
If you have questions and need to talk them through, start with a Quick Consult. If you're about to commit to a property and want a written second opinion, go with a Project Review. If you already have architectural plans and need them stress-tested before you build or permit, a Full Engagement is the deep review. When in doubt, send a short note describing your project and I'll point you to the right tier — see the consultation page for details.
Can I upgrade after starting?
Yes. If you book a Quick Consult and decide the discussion warrants a written review, I'll credit the consultation fee toward the higher tier. Same logic for Upgrade from Project Review to Full Engagement when the scope grows. No double-billing if the project expands.
Do you work in my state?
I'm currently licensed in multiple states, and most of what I do is advisory rather than stamped work — so jurisdictional restrictions are narrower than you might think. For reviews that require a licensed stamp in your jurisdiction, we'll discuss before booking. Full answer on the consultation page.
Is there a refund policy?
For written reviews: once the review is delivered, the engagement is non-refundable, but if the review feels incomplete I offer a 20-minute follow-up call within 48 hours of delivery. For consultations: cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled time carry a rebooking fee — full policy on the consultation page. If you have any concerns before booking, reach out and we'll talk before you commit.
